| The scale DG-600 is a highly detailed almost ready to fly sailplane manufactured by H Model of the Czech Republic. It has a wingspan of 4m or 4.8m depending on the wingtips that are placed on the wing panels.
The model itself is a full composite model constructed with fiberglass, carbon fiber, and kevlar composites. It has an all up weight of about 12-15lbs, depending on materials and electronics installed.
Completion of the model requires the installation of the electronics and also a scale pilot if desired. This process began with a careful assessment of each control surface and determination of servo requirements for adequate control.
The sailplane has a total of 10 servos installed for control. The controls are the following:
Ailerons-2 servos
Flaps-2 servos
Spoilers/Airbrakes-2 servos
Rudder-1 servo
Elevator-1 servo
Retractable Main Wheel-1 servo
Tow Release-1 servo
